Back to News... BG Smart - Your Life Connected, Your Life Smarter - 19/11/19

If you're looking for a smart home solution that is both easy to set up and affordable, look no further than BG's new Smart range. BG's Smart sockets and adaptor can all be controlled by voice command, touch or smart phone to provide a conclusive smart home solution.

A Smart Solution

BG Smart offers all the features you would expect out of an expensive Smart solution, but without the cost. With BG Smart, you can control and schedule power in your home via touch controls, voice commands or the BG Home mobile app (available from both the App Store and Google Play). There's no expensive hub, no costly cloud costs, and no monthly subscription services either.

The BG Smart range allows you to set timer schedules, countdown functions or security options and is compatible with both Google Home and Amazon Alexa for a total smart home integration. The system has been designed to be incredibly quick and easy to set up, with in-app support for any unforeseen set up problems you might run into.

Smart Sockets

The BG range offers Smart sockets to match their popular Nexus 800 and Nexus 900 white plastic wiring accessory ranges. The sockets allow for individual socket control and visually match existing Nexus white plastic installations perfectly meaning you can just upgrade the necessary sockets rather than all of your wiring accessories. For ease, these Smart sockets are even retrofittable into standard 25mm boxes.

Smart Adaptor

If you'd love the functionality of a smart socket but changing your sockets isn't practical, BG's Smart power adaptor could just be the product for you. This adaptor takes the functionality of the BG Smart sockets and wraps that up in a sleek power adaptor that gives you the ability to control power to your electronics, without needing to replace the sockets.
